Question

html form textfield format numeric with 2 decimals BUT don't show commas

I have a html form that pulls values from an SQL table.

Below is the code I'm using on a textfield (edit box) on my form for a numeric value.

Problem is I MUST OMIT (not show) the commas but must have 2 decimals showing in the textfield (edit box) on the form.

IE:  15,000.25

SHOW in textfield (editbox) as 15000.25

pratima mcs,

I'm trying to REMOVE the commas but keep the 2 decimals.

Your sample does the same thing as simply putting one line "FormatNumber
(rsGetRecord("gross_pay"),2)" - puts the commas in.

pratima msc,

Thanks for the reply.  I have a full working page below if you can test with that (your code in a functioning page).

If I make m_gross_pay 125000.25 then it works.  If I add another thousand, IE: 9125000.25 then I get a coma like this "9125,000.25".  With my field being 10 digits that could happen.
