Question

URL path change with href

I'm trying to navigate from a url like this:

www.mysite.com/post/edit   to
www.mysite.com/post

with an <a href=""> relative path.  I tried <a href="./"> but that just takes me to www.mysite.com/post/, and I don't want to go there, the slash needs to be gone.

I believe, according to the rules of building relative paths, the link should look like this:

From: www.mysite.com/post/edit, link to:
<a href="/post"></a>
to get to: www.mysite.com/post

If that doesn't work, try:
<a href="../post"></a> (like yours, but with 2 "." symbols)
