Browse All Topics Hi. The project is to send out approx. 30 personal holiday greeting videos instead of greeting cards. I have found a service that will host the video and they have given me html code of the embedded video. I have taken the html and saved it in a test.html file and it works great, it takes me right to the site and I can play the video.
The question that I have is how to create an html email that contains a picture, that sends the user to view the video. For the user, they would see an image, that looks like a postcard, and when clicked, they are taken to their video card. The idea is that if the link is not in the body of the email, then the video will not be viewed.
The email software that I am using is Outlook 2007. I have tried opening up IE and trying send, page by email, but it creates a large red x box in the body of the email. I have tried using vbscript to open up Outlook and create the html.body, but I have only been successful with simple formatted text and not the object of the embedded video.
This will probably take more than one question, so at this time I am only asking about creating the html picture that I can click on and take me to the video. Sending the email will be another question.
Thanks.
