The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Illogical crashing.

I have a windows program compiled in Borland 5.0. I have no problem runnig this program on WinNT or Win95 but when I run it on Win98 there is trouble.
If I open up a file from a floppy disk with the program everything is fine. If I open up a file that is on the hard drive when I close the program it crashes. This only seems to happen on Win98 and when I open a file on the hard drive. The crash doesn't seem to be in my code it looks more like it is happening with Borland.
Any  thoughts or suggestions??
