Problem in MDI View/Doc ................

hi,
  my problem is as follows. I am using BC++5.0 and OWL. I am facing some problems while running the sample codes given in C:\BC5\EXAMPLES\OWL\TUTORIAL\steps. When i run "step13" in steps.ide,which is based on MDI View/Doc architechture, in windows NT it is working fine and when i close the apllication by clicking the "close" button that appears on top-right of the screen, it is closing down. But in windows 98 if i press the close button of main window when multiple documents/views  are opened, it is showing  the following error message
  "Thread Stopped. C:\BC5\EXAMPLES\OWL\TUTORIAL\step13.exe: Fault access violation at (some address)......."
 and the system gets halted.

     How can i solve this problem?Please help me since my application is some thing like "Steps.ide" with MDI View/Doc architecture.
