basically whenever there is a return in the letters text the break will be displayed as a break in the html
you could acheive the same effect using string replacement
eg. str_replace("\n","<br>",$l

I have a webpage with a "letters" section. The letter body is input into a DB table of type "TEXT". How can I display it so that the letter doesn't all stick to one line? Do I have to parse it when its input and use <br> or something? PreFormatted Text won't work because then it doesn't word wrap. Thanks for any help!

en/functio n.nl2br.ph p
http://www.php.net/manual/
it replaces new lines with the <br /> tag so that they display correctly in the browser
