Authorize Net Help

I need to integrate Authorize Net's transaction page into my client's site. My team and I have been unsuccessful so far, and I would like step-by-step help (the integration manuals are no help). I read that cUrl is required, but I have no idea how to use it. Anyone have expertise in Authorize Net integration?
