The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Creating recursive database in MySQL?

Hi,


I would like to make recursive database in MySQL. For example the problem is:
I need to store information about companies, which have several warehouses. The structure will be something like this:

-company
--company_name
--company_address
--warehouses
---warehouse1
---warehouse_name
---warehouse_address

I like the application (web application) to have possibility new fields to be added after we will start to use it. For example I like to add information for telephones, similar structure like warehouses.
My database has two tables, one is called Fields, and the other Values. In the first table I will store field names like company_name, company_address, then the structure warehouse (with field named type=warehouse ), etc. The other table will store the concrete values for the fields.

Can you tell me which is the best way for making this application and is my approach good??
Also if you can, please send me some code how to make my database and how to make INSERT statements.
