Question

PDOException: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064

Hello,

I get this error when I try to update a table in my database. So, I moved the bit of code that I need to a test file to isolate the problem BUT unfortunately I could not identify the problem.

The error message is:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'condition='Condition', description='Description' WHERE itemID='33'' at line 1' in C:\AppServ\www\development\test.php:13 Stack trace: #0 C:\AppServ\www\development\test.php(13): PDOStatement->execute(Array) #1 {main} thrown in C:\AppServ\www\development\test.php on line 13

condition is a reserved word, user `condition` in stead.
