Question

Error connecting to Database PHP MSSQL

I am getting this error when I moved everything to a new server.

08/29/2009 Warning: odbc_connect(): SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]Invalid connection., SQL state 08001 in SQLConnect in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\adodb\drivers\adodb-odbc.inc.php on line 60

Here is my code.

include('../adodb/adodb.inc.php');
$db = ADONewConnection('odbc_mssql');
$dsn = "Driver={SQL Server};Server=servername;Database=FTP_DB;";
$db->Connect($dsn,'xxxx','xxxxx');
$rs = $db->Execute("SELECT * FROM tblUSER Where DATEOPENED < '$date30' ");
$arr = $rs->GetRows();

If I point it to the old server database it works fine, so I think it is a permsission error in the DB.

Does anybody have any ideas?

i think the problem is with the connection and not with the permissions.

I figured it out.  IT wanted the SQLEXPRESS at the end of the server name ftpsvr\SQLEXPRESS.
