sql cache using zend framework

Hi Experts,
I am using zend framework for caching the SQL records fetched from the database to stop firing sql every time. And if my database is updated then it has to invalidate the cache and requery to the database.
But currently it is not requering to the database.

Can any body help me how to invalidate the cache if the database table is updated using zend framework.
