I am trying to add jpeg support in php

and I have installed the following files: libjpeg-devel-6b-12.tar.bz2, jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz, I have to do it from source as the guys before me believe in custom install only, here is my command:
'./configure' '--prefix=/usr/local/php5' '--with-config-file-path=/usr/local/php5' '--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs' '--with-mysqli=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config' '--with-curl' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-memcache' '--enable-memcache-session' '--enable-json' '--disable-pdo' '--disable-spl' '--without-sqlite' '--disable-tokenizer' '--enable-gd-native-ttf' '--with-openssl' '--with-gd' '--with-mcrypt=/usr/local/bin/mcrypt' '--with-jpeg', I tried with --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib /usr etc ... to no result, also when I do tarxvjf for the devel file it does install a few files directly with no creation of a folder or configure options please help, thx
