Get a list of running processes

Hi

I would like to some how get a list of the running process on a machine with the user that is running them and echo them to the screen.  Do you know of a way to do this in php?  Like a tasklist but with the users. This is a windows machine.

If you are using XP Pro, you can use tasklist.exe and call it from PHP via exec()

Oh, tasklist -v will give you the users as well...

Well When I do this

<?php

$cmd = "tasklist  -v";
  echo exec($cmd);
?>

It only prints the last line.

Is there a way to get all the lines.

You can do this:

<?php
$cmd = "tasklist  -v";
  // catch output in $output array (handy if you want to parse it)
  exec($cmd, $output);
  foreach ($output as $line)
    print($line.'<br>');
?>

Or use shell_exec:

<?php
$cmd = "tasklist  -v";
  echo shell_exec($cmd);
?>

The first one is exactly what I did.

I figured out the array one last night and that works great.   That way I can manipulate the data.
