really cannot think of a title, kind of like macros

I will see how well I can describe this.

Ok, I am parsing a text file and I come across the text *fileinfo* in the file and later *filewidth*. Now I need to replace that text with the actual file name and width of the file respectively.

Here are my thoughts, but I cannot think how one can implement this in PHP.

$file_list = the list of all the files being worked with

$info_list = array();
$info_list['fileinfo'] = /*some sort of macro*/$file_list[$index]

Here is the question, how can I pass the index that I want to "pull" the name out of? This might not be the solution to my problem, but this is the only way that I can think to do this dynamically and based off of dynamic arrays. I do not want to replace the *variables* statically, this must all be done dynamically.

Any suggestion or ideas, please let me know. Hope that is not too vagueStart Free Trial
