Is there any way for a php script to display the page number and rank for a particular keyword or keywords in the different search engines. I want to show my potential customers my (real time) position in the search engines.

this can be built using PHP.
1) you HTTP-query the search engines with your keywords
2) you parse the results searching for a given URI or domain (yours :D )
3) you memorize result
4) loop for search engines
not that difficult, except that some providers block robots (the above) from doing this by asking to type a text displayed as image. I think you know what I mean.

There is a tool I use all the time called Dynamic Web Ranking. There is a time limited (I don't know how long) trial that is a little crippled, I think it only had 3 or so engines, but does what you want and puts out reports in PDF or HTML.
