I have a form for filling some details and 2 buttons - Submit and Preview. Everything is working fine. But I when I want to insert into the DB I call function with 21 parameters. Can I make it with 1 parameter - $_POST variables and inside my function to take what I need from it. Is it safe ?

It doesn't even need to be a parameter, $_POST is a superglobal variable and will work inside the function as per normal: tion/docum ent-librar y/doc_core _cgl/ Gener al_PHP_pra ctice/
As for safety, it's just as safe/unsafe as you are doing it now.
Just make sure you are escaping any client/server side executable code before running the query.
