The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Rewriting URLs in an html document

Hi
I have a site where users upload a zip file of html/images, these are unzipped and stored. The html is processed to remove the head/body tags. Later on the contents of the html file are displayed within another php file using fopen etc. Of course at this point all the relative links to images and other files will be broken - they'll refer to images and files in the same diectory as the unzipped html file, but are being displayed on another page in our site.
Is there a simple way to rewrite the relative urls in the displayed html, or should I use a regular expression to rewrite these urls at the same time I strip the head and body tags? I'm not a regex guru so to cater for all the combinations of href=" and img src=" in the original html file I guess I'll need a comples regular expression... any ideas?
