chmod is 775 and I'm getting the same error
maybe is it possible to copy the file using ftp_put?

problem copying files
hi
I'm trying to copy a file into a folder which is created by a php script using ftp function because if I use mkdir I'm not the owner and I can't modify that
when I try to copy the file I get this error:

Hi there.
You need to set the chmod of new_ftp_folder to 775 from the FTP or your control panel.
or you can try to do it from your code.
if (chmod ("home/public_html/new_ftp
{
echo "CHMOD SUCCESSFUL";
} else
{
echo "CHMOD FAILED";
}
If failed, then you need to do it from the FTP or Control Panel. :)
