How exactly do you want to send the command to the daemon, via a command-line op, a socket connection, etc.? That would be a good start to knowing which direction to point you in.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI wrote a c++ daemon to communicate with a telephone device with a micro.
I would use the daemon from web via php pages.
I think that I have to use a fifo queue to send command from php to daemon and to receive response from c++ daemon.
But I'm new to PHP and I studied but never used fifo in c++. Can anyone help me theaching where I have to start?
Thanks,
Federico

array_push and array_pop are lifo functions (last in, first out). to get fifo, you could push the element on (array_push) and use array_shift to get the first one out.

Would need more information on the commands and how your communicating to be more helpful.
en/ref.arr ay.php en/functio n.array-pu sh.php en/functio n.array-po p.php
But for a First In-First Out queue you could use an Array and its push/pop methods:

Basically make php.net your homepage for awhile ;) The search field in the upper right will help you find endless functions and help.
