Are you thinking of this??
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsUp until recently all of the pages on one of my sites were .html. I added the following to the .htaccess file to make SSI includes possible on non-SHTML pages
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes
AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .cgi
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html
I'd like to do the same with the PHP index file I have now. I've integrated a wordpress blog into the site so news is easier to update. Right now I can see the blog entries where I want them, but if I add the line
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .php
to the .htaccess file then the SSI includes begin to work, but the news (blog) area no longer displays properly.
If I add the line
AddType text/x-server-parsed-php .php
to the .htaccess file then none of it works, the SSI doesn't show up, and neither do the blog posts.
I'd prefer not to have to hard-code the menu and all that to the index page, but if it's necc I guess I will.
Anyway, how do I make SSI work with PHP files?
