Login across multiple sites

Is there anyway to have something along the lines of MSN passport for a network of sites I own? I have two domains, hosted virtually. As in, I can go to http://site1.com/store/ and http://site2.com/store/ and it will be the exact same files, content, everything.

I'd like to have it so if someone is logged it at site1.com and happen to go to site2.com, they will still be logged in there.

Sessions in the URI are out of the question and defeat the point. Since both sites are hosted virtually with the same files, directories, etc... can I share cookies between the domains or anything?Start Free Trial
