i've recently moved to PHP 5 and am looking at using SOAP instead of my current CURL implementation. is it possible to make simultaneous SOAP requests? i'm either looking for some method to achieve this or a function similar to curl_multi_init.
any and all suggestions welcome.

no that is not possible with the php-soap extension, only the curl-extension has the feature of retrieving data from multiple sources at the same time in php, no other extension has that feature! the soap-extension will process each connection after the other connection has finished.
