Thanks!
this one caught my eye:

I'm about to test it in my system now..
if that works, I may be switching to that function instead.and perhaps get the second request I had working there.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm currently using this resize class:
http://www.programmers-cor
it does work pretty good in my setup where I store the generated thumb in a database.
however, I would like some adjustments to the class:
* resize of transperent pngs (and probably gifs) will result of black fill on the transparent areas. I would like this fixed.. here are some sample pngs that does not work as it is now.

* when I set maxwidth=100 maxheight=100.. the resized image can be for example w=100px h=50px, I would then want to have a (image1) transperent image created w=100px,h=100px, and the resized image(image2) placed in the center of the blank transperent image(image1).. I only need to save the result in PNG format.
here is another thumb-class that is good, but I find the first one I linked to much simpler, and thats why I have selected that one instead:

thanks for the help;)

png-24 = success
png-8 = transparent are displayed as noice

added the option "$forcetransparentbox"
resize 100x100
$forcetransparentbox = false:
normal resize, doesn't care if the resultimage is exactly 100x100
$forcetransparentbox = true:
resize, makes resultimage exactly to the maxwidth and maxheight sizes. the pixels araound is transparent, if the saved image is png
