periodical task are normaly setup using cron so no useraction at all is required.

How do I execute a program on Redhat server using PHP code
HI,
I have a program that i need to run periodicaly on a server and would like to know whether I can run the program from a php page as this would allow me to create a page and get the user to do it them selves rather me having to do it and it would give the user control as to when run the program.
The server is running Redhat linux and I have the path and authentication information.
