The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? separate sessions for admin login and cart?

My site has a a shopping cart and an admin login.  I'm debating whether to have one session for both admin user and cart info like the below code snippet.  admin uers get access to admin area (duh) and also special features on every page of the site, like direct download of a song file.
If i go with one session, admin logout would be just a matter of:  unset($_SESSION['admin_user'])

On other sites I've used a different session for admin area and had the admin session storage in a different location.

I'm inclined to go with one session this time,though.  just looking for some thoughts and feedbackStart Free Trial
