Can't get PDFlib to work with PHP?

Hello everybody!

I am running Linux Fedora Core 7 and I am trying to install PDFlib on it.  I downloaded the PDF Lite source and compiled it and then installed it.  Seemed like everything installed okay.

Then I added the line in my php.ini file  "extension = pdf.so" but phpinfo() still does not recognize it installed?  I am running PHP 5.2.6, any recommendations?Start Free Trial
