inserting only year data into datetime type filed

Hi,

I needed to upload data into the db, and I made a form.html, and an insert.php pages to do that, and they worked fine with my previous db settings, which was changed like this http:Q_23672718.html

Now I don't know how to insert the date into the datetime type field.
I would like to insert only the year, where I select the year from the drop-down menu.
