Redirect on Replace Script Help

From the script attached, I just want it to look at a URL like this (with two meaningless/ useless slashes):
http://domain.com//folder/file.ext

And remove them returning this:
http://domain.com/folder/file.ext

And redirect to the returned URL. Why doesn't it work?Start Free Trial
