recovering recording session from grundig dvd recorder

Hello i have a dvd recorder grundig that i use to record on it tv shows, i have a dvd that i am recording on it many sessions and suddenly when i power up the recorder and i found up that give me that this cd is blank however it have more than 1 hour of recording ! so what's happened and how can i recover these again ! any clue ? can i recover on computer (however the computer show nothing )

hi there, I would suggest trying a CD/DVD recovering program:
CDRoller is probably the best of them:
http://www.cdroller.com/

I think you can download a free trial. If it still reads blank and recovers nothing, then I'm afraid it is not possible to recover the lost data.

Also better check out your DVD recorder, as there may be a fault which caused this.

I think you are out of luck here, in order to retrieve the burn sessions  on the computer the disc would have to be finalised on grundig, but since you had a brown the contents remin open and that can't be undone now.
Take a look at the dvd can you see a darker blue on the write side?
If there is no indication of colour change where the conetnets were burnt sorry it's a coaster.
even if you could recover the files some of them maybe unreadable  since it's a video unless they were stills.
I can recomend recover my files, here is a trial and you can use it to test if you can recover the files without having to pay for it first.

Audiominds,  any progress, not that it helps you but I have two grundig here collecting dust
uselss hardware I think unreliable.

Personally I think your out luck cut your losses.
Sadly you can't see a power cut coming unless there is lightening.
If there was lightening then it's recomended to turn it all off anyway.
