paging inside a page

Im publishing an article that i divide in two pages I use this script that will be inside the main page that allowed me to go from one page to another. This page will be called from the database. What you see in this link is just an illustration to show you the idea of what Im doing and the results Im getting. The pager is not working, what is wrong? Can I call php script from the inside of another page?

I dont what to creat a complex pager. I what to learn how to make this work if is possible.

				<p>Darse por completo es algo que el hombre natural no conoce y, aún más, aborrece. Es una gracia que disfrutas estando en Cristo, el Nuevo Hombre. Y puesto que no es natural al corazón humano pecaminoso, debes procurarlo en Dios. Agustín decía: ama a Dios y haz lo que te dé la gana. ¿Qué es amar a Dios? Es estar tan enamorado de su gracia que no hay tiempo para pensar en ninguna otra cosa, amar ninguna otra cosa o desear ninguna otra cosa que no sea al Señor. Desde un punto más práctico implica que todo cuanto haces en la vida tiene como centro su gloria. Le amas a tal punto que te causa tristeza ofenderle, horror el sólo pensar que estarás separado de él, y una inmensa pena el no tener la capacidad de obedecerle como merece. Pero a la vez tienes una energía y un empeño en usar todas tus fuerzas para luchar por cumplir sus deseos hacia ti. El que ama a Dios hace lo que le da la gana porque desea hacer lo que honra y agrada al Cielo. Cristo te libró del poder del pecado para hacerte siervo de la justicia, y tu cuerpo es un instrumento para la gracia.
