Firefox 3.x cookie file location on Vista Home Premium

Hi,

I'm trying to find the cookie file for Firefox 3.x on my Vista Home Premium.

I looked here:
C:\Users\vkimura\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\mz9wratd.default

There is a file cookie-1.txt. It's definitely a cookie file. It seems this is not the cookie file used by the browser as there is a website name in this list at "Tools/Options/Privacy/Show Cookies" that is not found in the cookie-1.txt file.

I'm logged into the site right now. I hope someone can help with this.

Hello vkimura2007,

Firefox has a good built in cookie view under Option menu

You can view cookies with this addon
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/315

Cookies.txt contains your cookies (but not passwords. That was in signons.txt + key3.db files).  You may have to unhide hidden files to see it.

Hi war1,

Thanks for the tip. I'm trying to find the cookie file to perhaps extract the PHPSESSID and id name from $_GET[] using PHP. I'm having difficulties using curl with the login process so I'm tring a temporary workaround;thus, my desire to find the location of the cookie itself.
