Php Twitter OAuth

I have created a bot which updates the status of a twitter account using http auth method of twitter api. But there is an issue it shows the "about 7 hours ago from web" message. I want it to display it as "about 7 hours ago from application name" so i have registered the application as client and i have all the details. When i pass my application name to source parameter it does not show my application name but when i tried to pass some other application name its displaying properly. I want to know where i am getting wrong while registering an application.

But you don't seem to use OAuth at all.

Hi,

I have followed the steps as mentioned in this link https://docs.google.com/View?docID=dcf2dzzs_2339fzbfsf4.

But my concern is to how can i integrate the gmail id with twitter id.

A user should be able to update the status of a twitter account  through gmail without supplying his password.


Please guide me on this.

I am afraid I don't know about the gmail id, probably you should open a new question about that matter.

So, about your original question, now the application name is shown correctly at twitter?
