Question

I am not getting error messages when people try to register on this site

Asked by: snowball77

hi,
I have been trying to get this registering module to work on this site here:
http://widowspeak.com.au/index.php

The problem is, if you try to use a username that has already been used, or passwords don't match or something like that...NO error messages come up to tell you.
The page simply refreshes and the user doesn't know what is going on?

This has been discussed on the forum here:
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=471&t=285131&p=1770728#p1770728

Perhaps I need to create my own page that tells them they have made a mistake and add it somewhere in the code.  I have attached the com_user/controller.php  code as this is the one discussed in the above forum.

I hope someone can help
