I have a very newbie question, so I hope someone will help me. (Sorry for the low points, I don't have more). My problem is very easy (for you I think).
I have downloaded a script (like a cms) but every *.php file begins with <? except of <?php as I've learned. And I can't get it work on my localhost apache server. It has a lot of file. I hope I don't have to rewrite every <? to <?php
What can/should I do?
Please help!

Good luck fellow Ray, you deserve it, I have added the helping example on how to change the setting, because I felt that the asker has no enough experience to dig into the technical article you have specified and get the solution. You have to consider this fellow with some askers.
Good luck with the points :-)
