Question

textbox should come instead of text while editing. how to do that?

i am displaying the title from database as you can see in the snapshot and there are two buttons. 1 is of edit and other is delete. i want that if i click on edit , a textbox should come in front with the text containing so that i can edit the text easlily.

might be jquery will be used in this. i am not sure for this.

That´s really a javascript question; since you are trying to make a dynamic website.

You can make it so your javascript will call your PHP once the user is done editing the text (either by clicking a button or with a lose focus event)

Oh, another thing you can do is change the innerhtml of the element having the text...
