Thanks for your comment, we are into premitting and licensing of building construction industry. The idea is typically to reduce the development time and cost. In a nutshell, dotProject seems to offer most of the required functionalities. I will try to experiment both phprojekt and dotProject.

What's your specific industry need? I ended up having to build my own to get what I wanted. I did start with evaluating phpprojekt and we actually ended up using dotProject for a while. I found dotProject to be pretty good. We do a LOT of repetitive jobs and I eventually found its lack of job templating to be annoying. I may have been able to do some customization of it to auto-load job templates.
Another option you can explore depending on your need is BaseCamp. It's a software as a service project management solution. Its largest downshot is that it's not free (you pay a monthly fee for access). The pro there is you don't have to install it and maintain it. The con is that you don't have the ability to tweak the code.
You might also like to look at quickbooks online. Again, it's pay to use but it has (I think) most of what you're asking for and if you use an accountant you can grant them access to it as well which makes tax planning a lot easier.
