With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. Enclosing HTML code as a POST value

On my Form I am giving ability to the user to paste in HTML code in a TextArea and save the record. A separate PHP file contains MySQL Insert Query to insert the record. While I retrieve the POST values in this PHP file, the insert query crashes as the HTML tags enclosed in the POST variable converts it to an HTML.

Please suggest how to safely include HTML tags in the POST variables so that insert query is properly executed.

I am using insert query in the following manner:
