php preg_replace and regex .trim the fat.

Here's what I'm trying to do..

I'm trying to search sentences with preg_replace for a keyword and then replace the entire sentence with a GOOD or BAD value...

I was thinking of just using preg_replace but it's confusing me.. I'm trying to use a wildcard equivalent here but it's not working.
