Question

Web designers needed

Asked by: icb01co1

Hi experts,

I am working for a large company who require a database driven website with a content managment side. The company initially wanted to go for very repituble but very costly companies. I know that as an internet computing student that what they require isn't massively complex, on the technical side. So i have been put in charge of finding a compitent company who won't screw us. Any ideas?

There's thousands of companies out there offering this.  Try searching google for companies local to you so at least they will be easier to contact.  Put out some tenders to them and see what price they are quoting.  People may give you recommendations on here but while they may have been happy with the outcome you may not be able to say the same for the next person.
Roll on the recommendations from 'satisfied customers' :-/

There are a lot of software out there that work with database driven websites and at the sametime be able to provide easy content management with security/permissions to multiple users.

I did some work for Century Pixel Web Design (http://www.centurypixel.com) and Stratum New Media (http://www.stratum.net)

I would appeciate so much if you mention my name (Serkan) if you decide to contact them.

Definitely go for local companies, its so much easier to work with someone you can make local phone calls to and meet if you need to.   If you're in the UK I can recommend you one in particular whom I know and who won't screw you.

Is there anyway we could wrap this thing up, resolve it, towe it, so when I get e-mail notifications of an EE post, I can actually see some useful information.

Or if you know of a way where I can unsubscribe from this particular thread that I would appreciate.

Thanks...
