How Can I Create an automated link trail?

Hello,
I'm looking to create an automated link trail at the top of each page that shows where the user is on the site, such as home --> programs --> articles, where each part of the trail is clickable to that previous section. A great example can be found at: http://www.fieldstudies.org/pages/89_publications.cfm, where it says home -> library.

The problem is, they are using Cold Fusion in that example, and I need to do this with .shtml SSI, javascript or PHP. Any suggestions?Start Free Trial
