I am getting a weird error in IE7:

Char: 3
Error: Type mismatch
Code: 0
URL: ...

This is all that is at line 387:

I am not sure what needs to be changed, Firefox's error console gives me no clues.

It seems you have no closing argument </div> before your <map class

the DIV opening tag is ignored hence the id is too

There is also neither content nor end tag on:
<div id="tips">

This may not bother you much if you have no intention of using that argument but may srew with your alignment....

Any JS scripts included in the page? The line 387 may refer to the line in the JS file.

Seeing how you have backToTop(), you should have JavaScripts in the page, if you can check those or post JS code here, the problem will be solved.
