Does this script generate valid XML?

Good Afternoon,

I use the attached script to query my database and return each record in <locations> elements as XML, which my Google Map can read. I need to extend this script but first i need to confirm that its working properly.

Warden & Rossko in this thread both suggest its not:

The <locations> elements don't seem to appear in the output:
www.globexposure.net/includes/read.php

Please would someone tell me what's not working, why and how i can fix it?
