Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI've developed an RSS feed for search results which validates at http://validator.w3.org/fe
The error given is:
"The feed could not be loaded because the content is not in a known feed format." (PubSub:2)
I have a few custom elements, but they have their own namespace, so this shouldn't be an issue.
I'm using the mimetype 'text/xml'.

http://feedvalidator.org/
If you can post a link to the feed (obscure the dots in the URL if you want to stay out of Google) I can try it with Safari when I get to the office.
Also, text/xml is deprecated: http://lists.w3.org/Archiv
Pete Freitag recommends (or recommended) different browser types for different user agents:

Hope there's a glimmer of help in there somewhere. I'll monitor and look for a link. ~Ray
