@GlennaShaw: I take your point. I have used dynamically generated objects from other applications, accessed from a foreign server via a URL, in PPT presentations. Wnen the PowerPoint page loaded, the object was imported and displayed. I did not have "live" information on the screen - that is, if the foreign web site changed the object after the PPT page loaded, I did not pick up the change until I refreshed my PPT page - much like a browser window looking at a dynamic web site.
