How to install a RSS reader in a HTML page ? for example, a reader which will display
http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories on my web page ?

Could you give somewhat detailed instructions  to do so ?

You would use a scripting language like PHP to read the contents of the RSS feed.  Then you would be able to process the XML in any way you wanted, including echo it to the browser.

// OR JUST ECHO TO THE BROWSER

You can use a simple ajax rss reader. And you get it on the fly !!!
