WSDL

Hi,

Iam very new to web services.As of now our application sends information pertaining to phone numbers from one layer to another. It has been observed that there are certain issues arrising becuase of not performing validations at our end. Hence this requirement has arised.

I have been given with a WSDL. I have imported this WSDL into our framework which is a custom made framework that is Java and J2EE compliant.

My task is to use this WSDL and do some validations according to the requirement.

Iam not sure where to start from ? Do I have to write a web service or a client to consume their web service?

After importing the WSDL into our framework I have made the necessary changes for Interfaces, Bindings and Services.

The next thing that I think I might have to do is make the connection and see some data going back and forth. How do I achieve this?
