The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Hi,
I have an XML like this:
<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<DATA>
  <ROW>
    ...
    <BDOC1>1</>
    <BDOC2>1</>
    <BDOC3>0</>
    <BDOC4>1</>
    ...

With xslt, I want to show text if each BDOCX has a value of 1, but also generate the correct name for the position style class to use in each div which will contain the text. Then, how can I do something like this:

...
<style type="text/css">
.p66{position:absolute;left:54px;top:385px;}
.p67{position:absolute;left:54px;top:408px;}
.p68{position:absolute;left:54px;top:431px;}
.p69 .....
</style>
...
<xsl:for-each select="DATA/ROW">
<xsl:choose>
 <xsl:when test="BDOC1=1">
  <div class="p66">Doc1 Text</div>
 </xsl:when>
 <xsl:when test="BDOC2=1">
  <!--Here if BDOC1 was 1, the class to use should be p67, else p66, I use my-own-syntax to show my problem-->
  <div "class=p"+string(66+number("BDOC1")>Doc2 Text</div>
 </xsl:when>
 <xsl:when test="BDOC3=1">
  <!--Here the same, but if BDOC1 and BDOC2 have 1-->
  <div "class=p"+string(66+number("BDOC1")+number("BDOC2")>Doc3 Text</div>
 </xsl:when>
 ...
</xsl:choose>
...

I have to control if the text should appear, but also, the position where them should appear.

I hope someone can help me,
Thanx in advance.Start Free Trial
