this can be done with a single XPath expression
//section[id='10507']/sect
for direct children
or
//section[id='10507']//sec
for decendants
you can construct this XPath as a string, passing in the id parameter
than you can pass this string in selectNodes() as a parameter
selectNodes will return the array you want
