xpath. using *

I'm trying to create an xpath to the element of
div class="smallOveride"
is there a way to create an xpath such that
//div[@class='wishList']/*/div[@class='smallOverride'']
however ths doesn't seem to work
i don't want to give the complete xpath as something elements might be introduced
