transfering XML data from one HTML to a server using POST.

Hi,
I am trying to POST xml data from HTML+javascript page to a server.
Server expects the following xml structure:

<HEAD>
<APP user="username" password="123456">LA</APP>
<CMD>command1</CMD>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<SENDER>Me</SENDER>
<DEST_LIST>
<TO>ToYou</TO>
</DEST_LIST>
</BODY>
</PALOA>

I am attaching html code I tried but it had several problems:
1. The attached code, seem to pass identifiers and their data, but not in the above structure.
2. I'm not sure how to deal with this line: <APP user="username" password="123456">
3. Even though I mananed to transfer some pairs of data (which I'm not sure has any relevance to XML),
it only when post.php (server side) was on same url of the html file,
Otherwise, submitting the html reported "Error on page" Access denied line 28, char 7
4. I would be gratful for a sample of code for both Client and Server so I could check myself.
I know HTML, no expert in javascript and hope there's a solution in html+javascript for that.
